Ellen Gives Sneak Peek at 'Idol Gives Back'
"American Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres is excited to be a part of Wednesday's "Idol Gives Back" -- especially about watching all the live performances.
Guests will include Elton John, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox and Mary J. Blige. Even the President and First Lady are involved.
"That's why I joined, to see all these people. Good seats... really good seats," DeGeneres joked with "Extra."
This year's special is raising money for several charities, including the Children's Health Fund and Feeding America. "Extra" went behind the scenes with DeGeneres and actor David Arquette as they toured the L.A. area food bank, The Foothill Unity Centre, for Wednesday's show.
"We can all make a difference if we pool together and donate a small amount,' DeGeneres explained. "$10 will be 90 pounds of food. We have enough money, resources -- no one should be hungry and no one should be hungry in our own country."
