Josh Radnor on His Sundance Debut
"How I Met Your Mother's" Josh Radnor is making the transition from sitcom star to movie writer-director.
Radnor's debut "happythankyoumoreplease" stars Malin Akerman and premieres Friday. The comedic drama, about six New Yorkers juggling love, friendship and the challenge of adulthood, will compete at the Sundance Film Festival.
Over 100 feature-length films will be screened at the annual festival, running from Jan. 21 until Jan. 31.
At the 100th episode celebration of "How I Met Your Mother," Radnor told "Extra" he was almost done putting the finishing touches on the flick and working on the film has "been amazing."
Radnor says he's honored to be going to Park City, telling the AP, "There's still no better place for American independent film than Sundance... that it's still an amazing place to debut a film after all these years."
