'Farrah Helped Me Out of Abusive Relationship'
Praise for Farrah Fawcett is still pouring in from "Extra" Friends. VW was especially touched by Farrah's performance as a battered woman in "The Burning Bed," and says the film struck a chord.
"I have watched Farrah throughout my whole life," VW writes. "She really helped me when I was in an abusive relationship. I would go to shelters and keep going back on promises. He kept that movie away from me, but during a time when I was gone, I watched it. Between the counseling I was getting and watching that movie, I realized I had the strength to leave. I wish I would have let her know that when she was alive. Thank you, Farrah, for your strengths in life!"
