Stand Up to Cancer's Dream Team
An all-star team of celebs have joined Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) and serve as a public voice for the organization. Plus, SU2C is bringing together over 300 leading researchers, clinicians and patient advocates from institutions all over the world for a Dream Team.
New members of the celebrity ambassador team include "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross, actress Kirsten Dunst, "Brothers and Sisters" star Sally Field, singer Mandy Moore, "Brothers and Sisters" star Dave Annable, actress/author Fran Drescher, "Desperate Housewives" star Dana Delany, "Watchmen" actor Patrick Wilson, actress Sofia Vassilieva, and recording artist David Archuleta.
The cutting edge Dream Team includes: Dr. Lewis C. Cantley, Dr. Charles L. Sawyers, Dr. Gordon B. Mills, Dr. Craig B. Thompson, Dr. Daniel D. Von Hoff, Dr. Daniel Haber, Dr. Mehmet Toner, Dr. Stephen B. Baylin, Dr. Peter A. Jones, Dr. Joe W. Gray and Dr. Dennis Slamon.
Since its launch in May 2008, SU2C has raised more than $100 million to fund translational cancer research programs.
