Hoff 'Disturbed and Saddened' by Drinking Reports
David Hasselhoff has broken his silence about rumors he was rushed to the hospital Saturday night for a .39 blood alcohol level.
Hasselhoff's lawyers, Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine, have released an exclusive statement to "Extra" that challenges reports of what really happened that night. "Mr. Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories. Mr. Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday, and was absolutely fine. However, Mr. Hasselhoff is both disturbed and saddened by the fact that a certain individual is disseminating grossly inaccurate stories about him to the press for ulterior motives."
According to reports, the Hoff had to be rushed to the emergency room after his daughter Hayley, 16, discovered her father unconscious with a BAC that, if accurate, would have left the actor on the verge of death. "Extra" Lifechanger Dr. Armand Dorian explains, "That means that almost 0.40 percent of his blood was actually alcohol," adding, "that puts him on the brink of death!"
The report also states that it was Pamela Bach, Hoff's ex-wife, who drove the actor to the hospital.
