Gilles Tangos to Perfection on 'Dancing'
"Dancing with the Stars" became a quest for perfection last night, with "Sex and the City" hunk Gilles Marini and partner Cheryl Burke receiving the first 30 of the season for a super hot tango!
Gilles and Cheryl spiced up the floor with a fiery Argentine tango, and the judging panel couldn't get enough of their chemistry. "It was another fantastic performance" judge Len said. Bruno added that the number was "a tango with almost deadly animal magnetism... bravissimo." Carrie Ann was seen fanning herself after the sensual performance. Gilles and Cheryl received 10s across the board.
Fellow frontrunner Melissa Rycroft also wowed the crowed with an energetic and entertaining Lindy Hop with partner Mark Ballas. The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was all smiles as she flipped and hopped her way to an impressive score of 29.
Shawn Johnson, who had a rough week with the stalker scare, performed a lively Lindy that was good, but did now wow judges because of her heavy footwork, although they admired her athletic jumps.
Lil' Kim broke into the top 3 last night with her tango with partner Derek Hough, which received a standing ovation. The tough gal rapper broke into tears after her performance -- overcome by her success. The judges were equally impressed with Kim -- giving the dancing pair a 27.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak remained at the bottom of the pack with 12 points, but when judges told him he "stunk," he simply replied, "I have three words for you: I'm still standing." Steve-O and Kendra Wilkinson, who nearly fell off a stool, also received low scores.
Will Wozniak's confidence allow him to skate by again -- or will he face the chopping block? Find out tonight when two contestants will be eliminated on "Dancing with the Stars."
