ScarJo Sees RED on Rwanda Trip

Glamorous Scarlett Johansson traded in her designer threads for simple garb as she embarked on a four-day trip to Rwanda, where she took time to visit AIDS clinics -- and encouraged Americans to donate to AIDS relief by purchasing RED products.
"It was important for me to come here and see the issues we're up against," Johansson said in a statement to People magazine. "I came here with an open mind, wanting to listen, understand and learn; I leave with the overwhelming understanding that the small action of making a RED choice in your purchases ... has an enormous impact on the lives of people in countries like Rwanda."
The "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" star teamed up with the RED initiative for the trip, which raises money to help fight AIDS in Africa through business and consumer power.
