Naomi Pleads Guilty to Assault
This past year has been a rough one for supermodel Naomi Campbell.
But according to TMZ.com, the catwalk crawler is aiming to put her troubled past behind her.
On Tuesday, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault after being charged with reckless assault for throwing her Blackberry at her maid last March.
In November, Campbell's lawyer unsuccessfully tried to cut a deal with the Manhattan D.A.'s office.
Naomi was arrested in March 2006 after Ana Scolavino claimed she was the target of the supermodel's flying crystal-covered Blackberry phone over an allegedly stolen pair of jeans.
Campbell was sentenced to five days community service, two days of anger management courses, and she as ordered to pay Scolavino's $362.32 medical bill.
Naomi must complete her sentence by May 21.
