During her latest appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” singer Cher took a dig at Madonna.
While playing a game of “5 Second Rule” with DeGeneres, Cher named Adele and Pink as people she would love to duet with. Instead of naming a third celebrity that she wants to collaborate with, Cher added, “Not Madonna.”
After her shocking response, Cher asked, “Did I cheat?” Ellen commented, “Yeah! He said who you'd want to — not who you wouldn't want to."
Despite their decades-long, on-again, off-again feud, Madonna and Cher appeared to have squashed it last year when they posed together at the Women’s March in Washington.
In 2013, Cher also emphasized that she “never hated” Madonna, reiterating on Reddit, “I think Madge might be one of the most amazing artists I've known. I don't like everything she does, for sure, but she is always riding the crest of the wave. She always saw trends way before anyone else and had great videos."
In the '90s, Cher admitted to having respect for Madonna, but noted, “There's something about her that I don't like. She's... mean. I don't like that."
They go way back — Cher was even a guest at Madonna's 1985 wedding to Sean Penn, where she met future date mate Tom Cruise.
