Last night, it was the red-carpet reunion we have been waiting for… Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, together again!
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh spoke with John and Olivia as they celebrated the 40th anniversary of their movie “Grease.”
Decades later, the movie still captivates audiences. John said, “Who would've known that this film would've lasted?... It started out as a 10 and it never stopped, as far as the pleasure that it gave audiences.”
John, who played the Danny Zuko, was instrumental in the casting of Olivia in the role of the wholesome Sandy. John said, “Oh, there was only one person in my mind ever that was Sandy.”
Just weeks before her 70th birthday, Olivia opened up on her health after battling cancer for the second time last year. She commented, “I'm doing well… I'm doing really well, thank you.”
After "Grease," John and Olivia also co-starred in 1983's "Two of a Kind." The big question: Will the two ever work together again? John teased, “We're thinking about something.” Olivia smiled, saying, “You know, I have a vision of an old people's home… And we find each other, you know… we find each other."
