Jennifer Lopez Sets the Record Straight on Alex Rodriguez Engagement Rumors

On Tuesday, “Extra's” Tanika Ray was on the red carpet at the Television Academy in North Hollywood for NBC's “World of Dance” Emmy FYC event, where she caught up with the Jennifer Lopez, who has been the subject of engagement rumors after the release of her new single, “El Anillo,” which translates to “The Ring” in Spanish.

It was J.Lo's first red carpet since the release of the song, which was inspired by her relationship with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. Jennifer commented, “We knew there would be a lot of talk when I put out the song. I played it for him and he just laughed. I love the song. It's a great song and I think it's a very anthemic — demanding what you want, demanding respect, demanding a place in someone's life.”

Jennifer continued, “I felt like it was something that women definitely feel. I just love the beat, the lyrics, it had a great hook. When Alex heard it, he was fine with it… I don't care what people say. I knew that people would talk about us, but it just didn't bother me. I'm so used to people talking about me, it doesn't matter!”

Is the superstar keen on the possibility of walking down the aisle again? She revealed, “I am open to all of the greatest possibilities in life, whatever those may be.”
