Tarek El Moussa Files for Divorce — What He Wants

One month after the announcement that they were splitting, Tarek El Moussa has formally filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Christina.
In the papers obtained by TMZ, Tarek cited "irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the split. He is asking for spousal support and joint custody of their two children, Taylor, 6, and Brayden, 1.
Though he wants spousal support, Tarek is asking the judge to block Christina from collecting spousal support from him.
Despite their split and bizarre altercation earlier last year, the two are trying to make their divorce as smooth as possible. A source told TMZ, "It's civilized, or as best it can be under the circumstances. They have to make it work if they want to continue monetizing what they do.”
The two will reportedly continue working together on their hit show “Flip or Flop."
