Chris Pine & Nicole Kidman Will Present at the Golden Globe Awards
“Star Trek Beyond” star Chris Pine and “Lion” actress Nicole Kidman are the first presenters announced for the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
The Aussie actress is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her work in “Lion.” Her co-star Dev Patel and the movie are each nominated as well.
The star-studded ceremony will take place on January 8 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
“The Tonight Show's” Jimmy Fallon has been tapped to host the show this year. He previously hosted the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards.
In August, when Jimmy was announced as host, NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said, "This is the most spontaneous and uninhibited award show on television, and Jimmy's playful, disarming comedic brilliance makes him the ideal host to enhance and elevate the sense of fun and irreverence that's made the Golden Globes one of the premier events of the entire broadcast year.”
