Actor Ben Affleck and actress Jennifer Garner continue to be close despite their breakup. At last night’s premiere of his latest film, “Live by Night,” Ben chatted with “Extra” about his holiday plans.
He shared, "We'll go skiing for the holidays, away to Montana with my brother’s family, Matt Damon’s family and our family.”
The couple, who announced their separation last year, are constantly fueling speculation they may be reconciling, with Ben even calling Jen “the greatest mom in the world” in People magazine.
Ben also revealed he is still working on his next movie as actor and director, “The Batman.” He said, “That’s what I’m working on, trying to get the script right... We’re hard at work. I’m really into it and I’m optimistic.”
As for “Live by Night,” a story set in the Prohibition Era and centered around a group of individuals and their dealings in the world of organized crime, Ben commented, “It was a lot of work and I’m really thrilled and really proud of it. We have a great cast… It’s really, really rewarding when a movie turns out the way you want it to.”
The movie is based on Dennis Lehane's novel of the same name, of which Ben said, “It’s a book that jumps right off the page, and we tried to do [it] justice.”
