Jimmy Kimmel Is Set to Host 2016 Emmy Awards
It has just been announced that Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the 2016 Emmy Awards!
Earlier today, Kimmel broke the news on Twitter, writing, “I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday, Sept 18. Until then, have a great summer.”
In a separate statement, he said, “I am excited to be hosting the Emmys again. I have a feeling I'm going to be great.”
This will be the second time that Kimmel hosts the show since 2012. ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey shared about the 48-year-old, “Jimmy Kimmel is the consummate showman. With Kimmel at the helm, expect to be at the edge of your seat for a bigger, bolder and better-than-ever Emmy event.”
The nominations for the Emmys will be announced on July 14.
