Get Ready for 'Empire' Season 2! 'Same Song' Exclusive Premiere
"Extra" has the exclusive premiere of the new song "Same Song," which will be featured in the upcoming second season of "Empire!"
The track was recorded by Bre-Z, who is also playing Chris Rock's daughter in the show.
About the powerful rap song, which is available now, Bre-Z shared, "It's a song about that struggle of being a young black girl… trying to pursue our dreams. All of us tend to sing the same old song. Some people don't see no way out of that, but you got to make a way. It's a little piece of me. I love it!"
She says the "Empire" cast embraced her with open arms. "They all treat me the same way. It's just a bunch of love. It's a big love circle."
"Empire" is set to return on Wednesday, September 23, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
