Kevin Costner’s Secret to Turning 60! Hint: It Includes an All-Night Party

Actor Kevin Costner looked great as he attended the L.A. premiere of his new film, “Black or White,” with wife Christine Baumgartner and daughter Lily, 28.

Costner recently celebrated his 60th birthday in style by throwing an all-night bash. He told “Extra's" Renee Bargh, “I was surrounded by friends who I spent a lifetime with, and family. We just partied late into the night.”

He continued, “Kind of actually didn't give up on the party. We left that, came back to my house and cooked breakfast.” Christine added, “A pancake breakfast.”

Lily Costner, who has a cameo in the film, said her dad is young at heart. “He plays basketball with us all the time.” Dad interjected, “You got to play to win… they have to play really hard to beat me.”

Costner plays a grandfather locked in a custody battle with his granddaughter's grandmother (Octavia Spencer) in the family drama that examines race relations.

Kevin explained, “This movie takes a really un-politically correct look at where we're at today when it comes to race, although this film really is about family… at the end of the day, race comes up and people play hard, like your heart can break into a thousand pieces with this movie.”
