George Clooney and Matt Damon Are Art Lovin’ ‘Monuments Men’
Actor George Clooney sets his sights on Hitler in his next directorial effort.
“The Monuments Men,” starring Clooney and pal Matt Damon, is a World War II thriller based on the Robert Edsel book. It centers on a real US platoon, comprised of museum directors, curators and art historians, who were tasked with going behind enemy lines to retrieve art masterpieces stolen by the Nazis.
