Sly Stallone on Arnold Schwarzenegger: ‘He’s Tough’
Actor Sylvester Stallone is still one of the most recognizable action heroes in film, proving it once again as a hit man out for revenge in the upcoming film “Bullet to the Head.”
Stallone sat down with “Extra’s” Renee Bargh and talked about how he continues to play very physical roles, even at 66 years old, and how he thinks Arnold Schwarzenegger is also still pretty “tough.”
Stallone smiled, “I'll give him the nod, he's a tough boy.”
Bargh asked the star he has any plans to slow down. “I swear to you, I try. Even in ‘The Tomb’ that I just did with Arnold, I thought, ‘Yeah, I'm going to do [stunt] doubles in that.’ But no, it was some real ass kickery in that, too!”
Sly surmised, “Maybe it's just in my DNA. I look in the mirror and I still see this guy who did ‘Rocky.’ I say ‘Let's just bring it’ and 20,000 operations later, you still want to bring it.”
“Bullet to the Head” opens February 1.
