"Sullivan lives at an adjacent property and was intoxicated at the time of the incident and may have confused himself and entered the wrong property," police said in a statement.
Tom and his family were not home when the incident occurred.

E! News reports that Jason Sullivan, 41, was apprehended around 9:35 PM after he was spotted hopping the fence at Cruise’s Beverly Hills home. Security used a stun gun and detained him before police arrived on the scene.
