Miley's New Music Video Gets Parents' Backlash
Singer Miley Cyrus has released a racy new music video, "Who Owns My Heart," that has the Parents Television Council concerned.
The president of the powerful parents' organization told TMZ, "It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one. It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly."

This isn't the first time the 17-year-old has come under fire for her attempts to break away from the squeaky-clean, teen idol status that made her famous. She has appeared on award shows in skimpy outfits, seen giving lap dances and released her first, more adult album this year, "Can't Be Tamed."
Cyrus told "Extra's" AJ Calloway in June. "You don't make music for other people, you make it for yourself. If you don't like it, get over it!"
