Singer Joy Villa Makes Bold Political Fashion Statement at the Grammys
What do you get when you cross politics with music's biggest night? Singer Joy Villa proudly answered that question.
Joy Villa stepped out on the red carpet prior to the Grammy Awards wearing patriotic colors on her floor-length gown and carrying a bright red, heart-shaped clutch. Joy's main fashion piece was her red, white and blue mermaid-style gown, detailed with the famous President Trump mantra and goal, “Make America Great Again.” Complete with white stars and red lines, the short train at the bottom of the back of the dress boasted a silver-jeweled “Trump” in bold letters.
Vill's red velvet handbag made a statement on its own. The gold trim and bordering gold fringe were accented with ruby-red jewels and a mini crown. She posted the accessory on her Instagram page. “My whole artistic platform is about LOVE!” she captioned. “I couldn't be where I am today without the love and tenderness of those beautiful supporters and friends around me.” She went on to say, “Thank you. I hope you enjoy tonight's @grammysawards2017 and remember to forget your problems and focus on your future! You are infinite and beautiful and no one can stop you but you.”
