Bill O’Reilly’s Presidential Predictions: ‘It’s Gonna Be Like a WWE Ring'
Last night, FOX News' Bill O'Reilly was just one of the media superstars honored at the Hollywood Reporter's annual 35 Most Powerful People Media Party, where he spoke only to “Extra's” AJ Calloway about the biggest news story of the year, the presidential race, as the candidates descended on New York to stump before the highly anticipated primary on April 19.
The newsman was happy to be on the THR list, joking, “I feel like 'Batman v Superman.' I don't know which one I am.”
What he does know about: Donald Trump. He asked AJ, “Did you think it could get crazier?” He added, “Look, Trump is Trump. If you like him, you like him, if you don't, you don't — that's the democracy we live in. When I talk to him, I ask him questions about policy and why he does the things he does and that's it. I don't favor anybody, I don't root for anybody, I just do my job.”
Still, O'Reilly has his predictions on what could happen on the Republican side. “That's the good story, because nobody knows, I don't think any of them are gonna have the delegates they need, so they're gonna go in... it's gonna be like a WWE ring, a wrestling thing and they're gonna hit... So I have no idea who's gonna come out ahead.”
Moving from the Republican to the Democratic side of things, Bill commented, “It's over. Hillary wins — she's got all those superdelegates. The fix is in — she's got it.”
When asked about a Clinton/Trump matchup, O'Reilly responded, “You know, Hillary would be the favorite in that, but anything can happen because Trump is so unpredictable… but Hillary, I'd say, would be favored by 5-7 percent.”
