Spelling, 43, was not expecting this fifth pregnancy. “I never thought I'd be pregnant again! It's a very welcome surprise,” she said.
Tori spoke publicly about her difficult pregnancy with son Finn. She was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition where the placenta covers the opening in the mother's cervix, which can cause severe bleeding and can prove deadly to both the mother and the baby.
“I'm totally healthy and safe. I am 100 percent healthy!” she exclaimed. “The condition I had with my last pregnancy, the baby and I got checked out when we first found out and not only does it not exist but it cannot exist. So we are going to have a happy and healthy pregnancy together! This is my bonus baby!”
The proud mom-to-be was one of several celebrities on hand to support the A Time for Heroes event. “Extra's” Mario Lopez, Wayne Brady, Camille Grammer, Alyssa Milano, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Tia Mowry-Hardrict were among the celebs bringing attention to the cause.
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation has a mission to end pediatric HIV/AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs.
