Nick Cordero's wife Amanda Kloots has posted a message of hope and faith as the Broadway star continues to fight for his life in the hospital.
Amanda shared a photo of Nick with their son Elvis on Instagram, revealing, "I've been told a couple times that he won't make it. I've been told to say goodbye. I've been told it would take a miracle."
She continued, "Well, I have faith. Faith that is small as a mustard seed sometimes, but that is all you need sometimes. He's still here and despite his odds gets slightly, slightly better every day. Where there is faith, there is hope. Where there is hope, there can be a miracle!"
Kloots also shared some supportive words from her father, writing, "Like my dad has said since day one, every day he's still with us is a miracle. I believe God is with us, with the doctors and with Nick. ❤️"
A few days ago, Amanda gave a health update on Nick as he reached the 60-day mark in the hospital.
“It has been awhile, partly that is because we have been in a little bit of a standstill. We are just waiting to see if Nick gets better,” she explained on Instagram Stories.
She continued, “We're at a point where we've done everything we possibly can and are waiting to see if things progress in a way that is good. Nick is on a big dose of steroids to help with inflammation in his body, so we are waiting to see if that works and we are continuing prayers and hoping for miracles every day.”
Amanda said her sister recently reminded her that sometimes God gives you a different miracle than the one you are asking for.

View StoryKloots agreed, saying, “In the end it is his will to be done and I have to keep believing that and I will continue praying and asking God for this miracle for Nick and we will see. If it isn't the miracle I'm asking for, maybe it is a miracle that comes out in a different way in a different time.”
Over the weekend, she also shared an old photo of her and Nick. It appears they are walking through ruins at sunset. In the caption she shared Nick's message to her on Valentine's Day: “The future's uncertain, the path is not always clear, but with you by my side I walk with no fear.” ⠀ She added, “It's day 60 and I miss him more than ever. 💛
After waking from a medically induced coma, Nick suffered a setback.
Last weekend, Amanda told Instagram followers, “Nick suffered from some new lung infection in his lungs earlier this week,” adding, “since then he's been slowly recovering” and “getting back to where he was before this infection came about.”
Nick was admitted to an L.A. hospital in late March after testing positive for COVID-19. Some of the complications Cordero has faced since then include septic shock, "mini-strokes," and a leg amputation.
A few weeks ago, Amanda opened up to "Extra's" Renee Bargh about Nick's health battle. Watch.
