George Clooney Reveals Secret to Successful Marriage with Amal
On Monday night, it was date night for George and Amal Clooney as the pair attended the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, “Hail, Caesar!”
The couple made quite the entrance by arriving in a vintage Packard automobile from the 1930s. Amal turned heads in a flirty Giambattista Valli Haute Couture 6 mini-dress while George did interviews solo. He told “Extra's” Mario Lopez that his wife is a fan of the star-studded Coen brothers movie based on the Golden Age of Hollywood. “We saw it in England, about two weeks ago… She loves it, especially the part where Josh (Brolin) is slapping me in the face; she thought that was good.”
Though George and Amal have very busy careers, they try not to spend too much time apart. George revealed, “FaceTime, we'll do that; mostly it's just: Try not to go very long… We spend an awful lot of time together. We try not to have these huge gaps.”
He continued, “We're able to manage, so far, between my work and her work and the things we're doing; we're able to manage it pretty well.”
Switching gears, Clooney also chatted about recently adopting a terrier, a rescue dog named Nate, for his mom. “I've got a couple of shelter dogs, my mom and dad had a dog that died, so I got them another one. I got them a handicapped dog because… then they'll have to take the dog — you can't turn that one away.”
