Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi has a boyfriend!
Bindi is dating competitive wakeboarder Chandler Powell, and the couple has finally gone public with their relationship on social media.
For Irwin's 17th birthday on Friday, Powell posted a special message, “Happy Birthday to this gorgeous girl! Feel very blessed to have you in my life. Counting down the days until I get to see you again!”
Earlier this year, Bindi joked with Us Weekly about how her dad felt about her dating. "Dad said that if I did find someone to date that he would have to prove himself by swimming across our largest crocodile pond! And if he made it to the other side, he could go out with me. I don't think we're going to go to that extreme, but it would still certainly have to be a very tough person to date me."
She seems to have met her match. Chandler's Instagram post included the hashtag #ISwamTheCrocPond!
Powell, 18, is a big name in the wakeboarding world, and now he's joining Bindi as a global ambassador for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors conservation program.
