‘Bachelor’ Baby News! Whitney Bischoff’s Big Revelation About Starting a Family with Chris Soules
“The Bachelor's” Whitney Bischoff couldn't wait for her fairytale to begin, revealing that she instead chose to freeze her eggs two years before even meeting fiancé Chris Soules.
Bischoff, who works at aParent IVF and is featured on their website, underwent egg vitrification, the process of cryopreserving your eggs when they are at a younger age so they can be used later in life, she told GMA in an interview.
Soules proposed to the Kentucky native on the season finale of “The Bachelor,” and even stopped by Bischoff's workplace earlier in the season to learn more about setting up IVF.
The 29-year-old fertility nurse explained that her job influenced her decision to freeze her eggs.
"I just felt it would be silly for me not to take the opportunity when it was handed to me,” she confessed. “It's an insurance policy. The hope is that you don't have to use them, you know? That's the whole point of an insurance policy."
The best time to consider egg freezing is between the ages of 25 and 35, according to the aParent IVF website. If you freeze your eggs at age 25, your eggs will still be 25 years old even if you use them when you are 40.

As far as when the wedding date is with the Iowa farmer, Bischoff said “we're just taking it step by step.” She added, “We've had a lot of changes, you know, coming public with our relationship and then 'Dancing with the Stars.' So right now, we're just trying to enjoy each other… and we'll get there.”
