Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Update on Maddie's Recovery After Hospital Release
After her hospital release, Jamie Lynn Spears took to Instagram to share an update on daughter Maddie.
On Friday, Jamie wrote on Instagram with a pic of Maddie in a helicopter, “Thanks to the amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and Children's Hospital in New Orleans, LA, we are headed home with our baby girl as she continues to recover. Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference. Thank you again to everyone. We are truly blessed🙏.”

Jamie Lynn's famous sister Britney Spears added on Instagram, “So grateful that Maddie was able to go home today… it's truly a miracle. Our prayers were heard, and they were answered. Thank you so much for all of your love and support this week. My family appreciates it more than you will ever.”
The hospital released a statement to People magazine, saying, "Maddie Aldridge, 8-year-old daughter of entertainer Jamie Lynn Spears, has been discharged from Children's Hospital in New Orleans. She is breathing well and interacting with loved ones. Doctors say she is on the way to a full recovery.”
Earlier in the day, “Extra” obtained the first photos of Maddie, who was seen holding her mom's hand as she left the hospital. Though she had a large bruise on her neck, Maddie, 8, was able to walk on her own two feet after her horrifying ATV accident last weekend.
Her step-dad Jamie and her biological dad Casey Aldridge were also seen shaking hands after her release.
