Kim Kardashian Mourns Football Player Will Smith's Tragic Death

On Sunday, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to mourn the death of former New Orleans Saints football player Will Smith, who was killed in a road-rage incident over the weekend.

Kardashian tweeted and referenced Smith's wife Raquel, "My heart breaks for my sweet friend Rockie. I'm deeply saddened by your loss.”

Kim added, "Will, you were an angel to your family on earth and you will continue to be in the life after. May God bless you! Sending so many prayers to her and her family!!! May the Lord surround her and her children with love and protection during this devastating time."

Kardashian may have gotten to know Smith while she was dating Reggie Bush, who also played for the Saints from 2006-2010.

Smith, 34, was fatally shot after an alleged altercation with Cardell Hayes, who rear-ended Smith's car in New Orleans on Saturday. According to local police, Hayes pulled out a gun and shot Smith multiple times after they “exchanged words.” Will was pronounced dead on the scene while Raquel was transported to the hospital after being shot twice in the right leg.Hayes was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
