Lea Michele Honors Cory Monteith & Her Grandmother with Two New Tattoos
Nearly three years after his death, Cory Monteith is still leaving a mark on Lea Michele.
On Tuesday, Michele took to Instagram to show off her new “5” tattoo, which is the number that Cory used to wear on “Glee.” She captioned the pic, "And one more.. for my Quarterback.. #5 ❤️.” Cory and Lea dated after they met on the show and even filmed many scenes together with him in the #5 football jersey.

Lea also got another tattoo — a cup of coffee on her finger — to honor her grandmother, who recently passed away. She wrote, "I lost my beautiful grandma this week.. She wasn't your typical grandma. She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old. She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I've ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma and I loved her... More than anything.. I love you Grandma. ❤️ @prospect_tattoos Bronx NY.”

Michele has been spending time with her friends in NYC, including BFF Jonathan Groff, following her split from Matthew Paetz in February. He was her first relationship after Cory's sudden death in 2013 from a drug overdose.
