Casey Anthony Out of Hiding, in Court on Bankruptcy Claim
Former murder suspect Casey Anthony, who has maintained a low profile since being acquitted in the killing of her 2-year-old daughter in 2011, will be in court again on Monday to answer questions in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Anthony, who has been unemployed since the murder trial, is required to attend a creditors meeting in a Tampa, Florida courthouse, where she will be questioned about her current financial status.
Casey says she owes almost $800,000 to about 80 creditors, including former attorney Jose Baez, and her parents; George and Cindy Anthony.
The 26-year-old completed her one-year probation for check fraud in August and has resurfaced a few times over the past year, once via a leaked video diary and in a telephone conversation with CNN's Piers Morgan.
