Caitlyn Jenner Speaks Out on Fatal Car Crash
In her two-part interview with Matt Lauer, Caitlyn Jenner opens up about her involvement in a Malibu car crash in February.
Caitlyn said of the accident that left one woman dead, “I remember it happening (but) that's about it. A tragedy like this, you'll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”
She revealed what she fears most about being charged with manslaughter for rear-ending a vehicle, which led to the woman's death. "The Men's County Jail. That's the scary part. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans women in a men's county jail.”
The interview also touched on lighter topics, such as Halloween costumes based on Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover. She shared, “I'm in on the joke. Yeah, no, I don't think it's offensive at all.”
"I could have done my own costume! I mean, that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair. I mean, at least get some good clothes. You've got to enjoy life. Life's too short. I can't get too upset about that type of stuff,” she added.
