Aerosmith Is Bringing the Party to MusiCares
Award-winning rock band Aerosmith is bringing musical muscle to a tribute event in their honor days before the 62nd Annual Grammys.
The Jonas Brothers, John Legend, H.E.R. and John Mayer are lined up to cover Aerosmith's iconic music at the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year event honoring the band members for their philanthropic efforts over five decades and their undeniable impact on American music history. Aerosmith has shown support for a number of charities around the world, including Steven Tyler's Janie's Fund.
Before the tribute concert on Friday, January 24, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, there will be a reception and silent auction offering an unparalleled selection of luxury items, VIP experiences, and one-of-a-kind celebrity memorabilia for bidding guests. Proceeds from the annual Person of the Year tribute — celebrating its 30th anniversary — provide essential support for MusiCares, a charity founded by the Recording Academy® that ensures music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical, and personal need.
Past MusiCares honorees have included Bono, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand and Stevie Wonder.
