Jenna Bush Gives Birth to Baby Girl
Former first daughter Jenna Bush gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday night. Check out the “Today” show clip for the first pics of Jenna, husband Henry Hager and daughter Margaret Laura “Mila” Hager.
"Both my girls are healthy and well," Henry told “Today,” calling himself "the proud papa." Former President George W. Bush was simply “elated” over his first grandchild.
The healthy baby girl weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 1/4 inches long.
Bush released a statement on Sunday, saying, “Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager. Mila, daughter of Jenna and Henry Hager, is named for her grandmothers. She was born last night, April 13, at 8:43 p.m. in New York City. We met our beautiful granddaughter today."
