Brad Pitt’s Hug Fest at ‘Okja’ Premiere, Plus: Did He Call Jennifer Aniston to Apologize?
Last night, Brad Pitt stepped out for the NYC screening of “Okja,” which is produced by his company Plan B.
While he skipped interviews on the carpet, he received a warm reception from actress Lily Collins, director Bong Joon, and Tilda Swinton's partner Sandro Kopp, all of whom gave him hugs!
Earlier this week, he made an unexpected appearance on “The Jim Jefferies Show,” poking fun at the political climate as a weatherman. He joked in his forecast of the future, "There is no future.” Watch!
Over the months, Pitt has become more comfortable with public appearances since his split with Angelina Jolie, attending the premieres of “The Lost City of Z” and “War Machine.”
Work aside, Pitt also showed support for musician Chris Cornell's family after his shocking death, spending time with the late singer's kids at Universal Studios Hollywood, according to EOnline.com.
Rumors were recently swirling that Pitt has called ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and "apologized for all the heartbreak,” but a source close to Pitt told Gossip Cop that the story is not true.
In April, Jennifer's friend Chelsea Handler spoke out against rumors that she was interested in the divorce drama between Pitt and Jolie. She told the UK's You magazine, "I don't think Jen cares about what's going on, and it's crazy that people think she does."
It appears that Angelina and their kids will be based in Los Angeles since she reportedly bought the historic Cecil B. DeMille estate for $24.5 million, according to People magazine.
