Michael Jackson's Kids Celebrate Dad's Birthday in Gary, Indiana
The children of Michael Jackson celebrated what would have been their father's 54th birthday in a very special way. Prince, 15, Paris, 14 and Blanket, 10, joined fans in Michael's hometown of Gary, Indiana for a touching vigil at his childhood home.
In an earlier interview, the children shared their thoughts on Gary and their father. Prince told a local reporter, "We're here in Gary, and it's a new experience for us. People are real nice here. It's amazing how much he was respected and loved."
Blanket, who has shied away from the media, added, "It's a good place. It's good to see it, the place where our dad grew up."
