Blake Shelton Talks Life on ‘The Voice’ without Adam Levine
Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson told "Extra's" Renee Bargh they are having a blast on the new season of “The Voice”!
Blake opened up about life without Adam Levine on the hit NBC show, saying, “It's weird to not have Adam here, because I don't know who to be mad at.”
Kelly commented, “That's interesting," before Blake went on to say, “I have found somebody to direct most of it towards” — indicating that "somebody" is Kelly!
Clarkson pointed out, “They even got me in the seat, in Adam's seat!”
Adam and Blake are still friends, and Shelton shared, “I am just as much in contact with Adam as the first season on the show.” The singers FaceTimed together for 45 minutes the other night. “We had a lot to catch up on,” Blake said.
Shelton said the four coaches — including his girlfriend Gwen Stefani and John Legend — are having fun. “This has been crazy-fun to me," he said. "There is no way around it — it's weird to not have Adam here, but at the same time, the four of us clicked, it's so much fun it's actually scary. Can it be this easy?”
Kelly agreed, explaining, “I think it helps having a rapport with people.”
