Reese Witherspoon’s Look-Alike Daughter Ava Replaces Olivia Jade with Amazon Partnership
Reese Witherspoon's daughter Ava Phillippe has formed a partnership with Amazon Home, who helped her decorate her dorm room, ahead of her sophomore year at college.
Phillippe is enrolled at University of California, Berkeley. She shared in a statement, “Because the moving process at my university happens so quickly, I only had a few days to get moved in and settled. I was able to purchase all of my dorm and school essentials from Amazon's Off to College storefront and get my items delivered fast with my Prime Student membership. Prime Student also includes exclusive deals for students, and entertainment with Prime Video.”
The 19-year-old also opened up about her college schedule, saying, “One of my favorite aspects of college is the freedom to create your own class schedule. While it's exciting that every week day is different, it sometimes makes it challenging to keep track of my schedule. I've been using my Amazon Echo to set reminders I need for class, set alarms, and keep me organized."
Last year, “Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with Reese, who was “excited” for Ava, who was “ready for the next stage” in life. Watch!
Before Ava partnered with Amazon, Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade had a relationship with the brand. Jade lost that partnership when news broke of the college cheating scandal.
In now-deleted posts from 2018, Olivia wrote, “Officially a college student! It's been a few weeks since I moved into my dorm and I absolutely love it. I got everything I needed from Amazon with @primestudent and had it all shipped to me in just two-days. #ad #primestudent#allonamazon."
At the time, Olivia told Teen Vogue that she “found pretty much everything” she needed for her USC dorm room on Amazon. She commented, “It was easy to find it all in one place, and there were so many options to choose from. I was also able to use my Prime Student membership and received all the items in two days with free shipping."
After the college scandal, Olivia also lost her endorsements with Sephora and Princess Polly. A Sephora rep told TMZ, "After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately."
Olivia is going through some changes in her life, recently moving out of the family home in Bel-Air to escape the media frenzy surrounding her parents' scandal and “is excited to be moving into her own apartment.” An insider revealed to People, “Her parents still face a lot of media attention. There is paparazzi at the family house every day. It's very stressful for everyone. Olivia has decided to move out for now. She doesn't want to be followed when she leaves her home.”
