Tyra Banks & Her Mom Carolyn Dish on ‘Celebrity Watch Party,’ Plus: Tyra Talks Will Smith Reunion

Tyra Banks and her mother Carolyn London are ready for a fun night of TV on the new FOX reality show “Celebrity Watch Party.”

“Extra's” Cheslie Kryst caught up with the pair via video chat, where Tyra was fangirling over Cheslie. “We are so happy and excited,” she said. “I'm excited to talk to you right now, honey,” telling Carolyn, “She's Miss USA, Mommy!”

“Celebrity Watch Party” lets fans watch as their favorite celebrities react to the week's most interesting TV shows. Filling Kryst in on what fans can expect, Banks said, “The world is going to get to know this woman — my mama's crazy. She is buck-wild, she's watching TV and I'm like, 'Mama, don't forget they are recording us.'”

She went on, “Like we're watching 'The Masked Singer' and she's like, 'I don't get it. Why they got a mask on? Who's in there? Take it off!'”

Banks explained the set-up, saying, “We sit here in bed, I know that it's weird.” Her mom added, “It's an automatic bed so we can go up and down.” Tyra interjected, “We can raise our legs so we just watch TV and we act like there are no cameras here, but there are.”

What do they like to binge? Banks said, “My mom loves 'Home Improvement,' she loves 'Say Yes to the Dress.' She's never seen me in a wedding dress.” Carolyn replied, “She'll never give me the opportunity.”

Banks also chatted about her recent reunion with “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” co-star Will Smith on his #WillFromHome Snapchat show. “It was so fun to be with Will again… total chemistry of crazy, having super fun… He's the same Will Smith who had his first acting job on 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' to like one of the hugest stars in the entire universe. Love it.”

Will and Tyra re-enacted a famous scene in which their exes have an argument. Banks told Cheslie, “To this day, I still know that scene and I was slightly hurt that Will wasn't mouthing the words with me… I feel like he should know this.”
