SuperBey Super Bowl Highlights
Beyoncé made one political statement while performing her new song, “Formation,” for the first time ever at the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show last night.
Beyoncé and her dancers appeared to pay homage to the Black Panthers, a revolutionary '60s black nationalist group. Bey also sported an ensemble similar to Michael Jackson's 1993 outfit from Super Bowl halftime. While dancing, she managed to handle a near fall like a pro and continue like nothing happened.
At the middle of her performance, Beyoncé was joined by Bruno Mars and Chris Martin, who opened the show. They sang a little part of Bruno's “Uptown Funk.” The trio ended the show by singing “We're gonna get it together now!” from Coldplay's song “Fix You.”
“Fix You” was a song that Chris wrote for ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who sat in the stands and was spotted kissing Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy during the game. Gwyneth posted a cute photo of her daughter Apple holding Blue's hand at the game on Instagram.

After the show, Beyoncé also posted pics of herself at rehearsal, featuring Blue Ivy standing on the field along with daddy Jay Z.
