Video! Woody Allen's Response to Claims He Sexually Abused Daughter Dylan
Dylan Farrow posted an explosive open letter on the New York Times website, renewing claims that her adoptive father Woody Allen sexually abused her when she was 7 years old.
Allen stayed mum on the issue as he left Madison Square Garden on Saturday night (watch the video), then issued a statement on Sunday via spokeswoman Leslee Dart. She called the article “untrue and disgraceful,” adding, “He will be responding very soon.”
Dylan Farrow Accuses Woody Allen of Sex Abuse in Open Letter
The sex abuse allegations surrounding Dylan began in 1992, after Woody was caught cheating on Mia Farrow with his stepdaughter Soon Yi, then 21, whom he later married.
Allen defended himself publicly at the time, sitting down with “60 Minutes” for a candid interview about the sex abuse claims and his relationship with Soon Yi.
Woody goes into detail about Mia's “rage” over the affair, and insists that “there is no possibility that anything remotely ever happened to Dylan, or that I ever did anything to Dylan.” Watch the video!
Dylan's letter also addressed those who have stood up for and worked with Allen directly, like Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin from “Blue Jasmine.”
At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday night, journalist Jeffrey Wells asked Blanchett about the allegations.

"It's obviously been a long and painful situation for the family and I hope they find some sort of resolution and peace," Blanchett said, according to Wells.
Baldwin then responded on Twitter to someone asking whether he owed Dylan an apology, "What the f&@% is wrong w u that u think we all need to b commenting on this family's personal struggle?"
