Lea Michele & Matthew Paetz Split After Almost Two Years of Dating
"Scream Queens” actress Lea Michele and model Matthew Paetz have reportedly gone their separate ways after almost two years of dating.
A source told People about the breakup, which apparently happened earlier in February, "Lea is surrounded by her friends, who have rallied around her and support her. She's doing fine, focusing on her work, her music, and her album.”
Another insider revealed to Us Weekly that the split may not have been amicable, saying, "He had enough. She was completely crushed. He won't take her back."
Lea and Matthew had met on the set of her music video “On My Way” in April 2014. It was her first relationship since her “Glee" co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith died in 2013.
During happier times, Michele gushed with PodcastOne's “Fempire” about Paetz, "I really know that Cory would love him, too. And that's all that we hold within our hearts, and so does everyone else in my life. Other people don't know him and they don't know my private life, so I understand that people are going to say whatever they are going to say. As long as he and I are good, my family's good, my friends are good, that's all that matters."
