Kate Hudson Talks Relationships Amidst Nick Jonas Dating Rumors

Is Kate Hudson single?

Those Nick Jonas dating rumors won't quit, although Kate hinted to us that she's still searching for Mr. Right.

“Extra” caught up with Hudson at her “Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body” book signing at Barnes & Noble in NYC. She told us, “It's been a great time for me to focus on career and kids. And then hopefully the relationship that enters when that time comes will just sort of very gently ease right into that.”

The 36-year-old mother of two did offer up this bedroom confession.

“I do a lot of locking myself in a bedroom,” she joked. “Sometimes it's to get away from my kids. No. Haha.”

Actually, it's because she likes to do a lot of dancing.

“When I feel down or even happy or up or even sensual, dancing is a great place to go to,” she said.

Hudson added, “I've always been someone who locks themselves in the bedroom. It's a weird thing. Since I was a little girl. It's where I dream. I think creative people need to lock themselves up a little bit and get weird.”

Kate also talked about her new book, revealing, “What my body is today is obviously not what it's going to be… like, in 10 years.”

She continued, “So how do you continuously shift and move with that inevitable change that happens for all of us?” Her secret so far? Exercise, diet, and being mentally well-balanced.

“I think emotional well-being is huge,” she said.
