The Weeknd and Bella Hadid Call It Quits

After a year and half together, singer The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) and Bella Hadid are parting ways. The couple blame the split on their busy careers.
A source told People, “Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album. They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”
On the day the split news broke, Hadid was spotted doing some retail therapy in Los Angeles.
The two began their relationship in April 2015 when Bella worked on a few projects of The Weeknd. She was featured in his “In the Night” music video and appeared in the artwork for his album "Beauty Behind the Madness."
The two publicly debuted their relationship by showing their affection for each other at the 2016 Grammy Awards, where he took home two trophies.
Bella gushed to Glamour about her beau, “It was a big night for him. He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy.”
