'Downton Abbey' Star Joanne Froggat Trades Maid Uniform for J. Mendel Gown
Supporting Actress nominee Joanne Froggat stunned in a blush-colored J. Mendel gown and Jimmy Choo shoes at the Emmys on Sunday.
The gown featured bold black lines and skin-baring cutouts at the top and back of the dress, as well as a dramatic, floor-sweeping, sheer black train.
The 35-year-old actress, who was nominated for the third time for her role as Anna Bates on "Downton Abbey," was grateful she chose a dress that was suitable for the sweltering temps in L.A.
In a red-carpet interview, she told E! News, "I'm very happy with my choice… it's as cool as it possibly could be on such a hot day."
