‘RHONJ’ Star Lauren Manzo & Husband Vito Scalia Split After 8 Years of Marriage

It’s over between “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Lauren Manzo, 35, and Vito Scalia, 37.

The split news broke on Tuesday, and Lauren confirmed the breakup on Instagram.

The Sun reported that Vito filed for divorce from Lauren on September 5, citing “irreconcilable differences.

While in Italy for her brother's wedding Manzo explained in a video, "We’re all good. This has been done for a very long time. The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page, this is something that we did together. Vito and I love and respect each other and we continue to move forward as a family."

"All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy, her privacy is important to us… which is why we didn’t feel the need for some dramatic announcement."

The docs obtained by The Sun state, “The parties have experienced irreconcilable differences for a period of at least six months which has caused the breakdown of their marriage and it is apparent that the marriage should be dissolved as there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”

According to The Sun, Lauren’s lawyer responded that he would oversee “all financial related issues, including, without limitation, alimony, equitable distribution and counsel fees.”

Lauren and Vito tied the knot in front of the Bravo cameras in 2015, welcoming daughter Markie in 2017.

Rumors started swirling about a possible breakup earlier this year when Lauren was spotted on Instagram without her wedding ring.

She responded in the comments section, “First of all, I truly give zero f**ks if you admire me or not. Secondly, I haven’t been on TV for 7 years. I am allowed to keep many aspects of my life private especially after having a child. If you don’t like it then stay away from my page. Simple as that.”
