“Extra's” Mario Lopez was on the red carpet and chatted with all the stars of the movie, including Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon.
Oprah Winfrey, who plays Mrs. Which in the film, shared her thoughts on the courageous students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, saying, “It's a new generation that understands enough is enough. My experience has taught me that every single generation gets to a point where there is critical mass and you say, 'Enough — we will not stand for this.'”
“A Wrinkle in Time” star Reese Witherspoon wore a stunning Michael Kors dress to the premiere — did she check with her co-stars about their premiere-night ensembles? Reese joked, “It's kind of fun working on a movie with so many women because we're all on a group text saying, 'What are you wearing? I don't know, what are you wearing? This is what I'm wearing. What do you think?' We have a lot of fun.”
On her Emmy Award-winning HBO show “Big Little Lies,” Reese dished, “We're starting in two weeks. We have Meryl Streep, which is extraordinary. [We're shooting] here in L.A. and in Monterey.”
Reese also got some support last night from expectant friend Eva Longoria, who is still hard at work during her pregnancy. Eva said, “I'm sure there will be a cutoff point, but I just don't know when that will be. I'm sure there will be a point where I just can't waddle anymore. I'm producing this pilot in Miami, so I've been flying back and forth.”
How far along is she? Eva laughed, saying, “I'm 24 weeks — six months. I think the press has me further along, probably because I look bigger than I should!”
“A Wrinkle in Time” hits theaters March 9.
