Jennifer Lopez on Alex Rodriguez’s Support: ‘It’s Just a Nice Dynamic’

Before hitting the stage tonight, Jennifer Lopez wowed in a hot pink Georges Chakra Couture halter gown with side cutouts, dazzling on the red carpet at the 2018 American Music Awards.

“Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with Lopez, who gushed over her busy man, Alex Rodriguez. As for where he was, she revealed, “He was working with the Boys and Girls Club today and couldn't cancel on the kids.”

“When you have a partner that is so supportive of what you do, you don't have to hold back,” Jennifer said. “With him, its like, how much more do you want to do? How much bigger do you want to get? How can I help you? Where do you need me to be? And I like to do the same for him. It's just a nice dynamic that I have never experienced, and I am really happy about that.”

Jennifer is busy as ever. “I got back from Vegas on Sunday and I was working Monday, on 'World of Dance' and this performance Monday. They were like, 'You know you are performing at the AMAs? I was like, 'Ya, that's right, is that in November?' They were like, 'No, it's Tuesday. Fun… let's go!'”

Jennifer is performing her new song, “Limitless,” which was written for her new movie “Second Act.” Of the meaning behind the song, she explained, “We are limitless, everything is in your hands. The only thing stopping you is you. That's what the movie is about. Sia wrote the perfect song for it. I had her watch the movie, I said, 'Please watch this and if you get inspired, please give us the song that the world needs right now.' She is such a genius, and I am so glad that I get to sing this song and perform it tonight, very powerful. I think, and I am excited about it. I haven't been excited about a song like this in a long time.”
