‘RHONY' Stir Up Trouble, Promise More Drama This Season with Bethenny Frankel’s Return
“Extra” caught up with divas of drama LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer to chat about the brand new season of “The Real Housewives of New York,” and what it's like to have fan favorite Bethenny Frankel back on the show.
“For me it's been great having her back, feels like the old days of 'Housewives,'” revealed Lesseps. “She and I have been through many ups and downs, and having her back's really been a good thing for me, and I think for Ramona too.”
The 58-year-old Singer agreed, “It's like an old shoe that fits.”
Along with Frankel, new housewife Dorinda makes her debut this season, and Singer calls both ladies a “breath of fresh air,” adding, “They're both charismatic, energetic, speak their mind, get feisty, and that's what's good about the show this season.”
Singer deals with her own drama this season, including a divorce from her husband of 27 years, Mario.
“Listen, he was a great husband for a long time and a great father, and he had a mid-life crisis, and I can't be around for that,” said Singer. “You'll see me going through the pain of it, and also having fun, and it's almost like some things come off me, lifted, I feel lighter and easier, and actually LuAnn likes me now.”
All jokes aside, both ladies promise lots of drama… the two even get into a little tiff during the interview when asked if there was anything they regret doing on camera. Take a look!
